Description : This suit was worn by a woman when she went out walking to run errands. The suit is and incredible wool soft to the touch, lined printed silk, has a wide lapel with a long sailor collar in the back. Four button closure, two strips of fabric with mother of pearl ornaments on each. The back has a full vent and is also pleated, it is longer on the sides for an added detail. There are 6 strips in silk on the longer side and four on the shorter. The skirt is a snap closure with a hook and eye at the top as there are fourteen buttons on each side for ornamentation. Has silk ribbon done in a rounded asymmetrical pattern, is a line in style. Probably American made. Measures: shoulders 15in, bust 36in, sleeves 23in , armhole 7in, waist 28in, hips 40in, length of the longest part of jacket 40in, shortest part 34in, skirt length 35.5in.
